Project Note: All knitting is done with fine part of yarn between cocoons.
2. Prep Row: Skip 1 cocoon on working yarn, k1, skip 1 cocoon on working yarn, k2, *skip 3 cocoons on working yarn, k2; repeat from * 17 times more, skip 1 cocoon on working yarn, k2, skip 1 cocoon on working yarn, k1.
3. Row 1: Skip 1 cocoon on working yarn, k1, *skip 1 cocoon on working yarn, k2; repeat from * 19 times more, skip 1 cocoon on working yarn, k1.
4. Repeat Row 1 45 times more or until piece measures 21½" from beginning.
5. Repeat Prep Row once.
6. Bind-off Row: Drop 2 sts, *skip 3 cocoons, BO 2sts; repeat from * to 2 last sts, drop 2 sts.
7. Cut yarn and secure end.
8. Unravel dropped stitches to form fringes along both sides.
